Do you quickly need a wheelchair or a couple of crutches? You can borrow these types of medical aids from the home care shop. Whoever collects them will need to bring along proof of identity. You can borrow the material for a maximum period of 6 months.
Do you need a wheelchair on a long term basis? Then go to the WMO-loket at the council. Clearly indicate which wheelchair you need and what you will be using this for. You will need to wait a few weeks up to a couple of months before your wheelchair arrives.
Do you need other aids? You will find all important medical aids at the Welzorg shop. This includes things like supports for the shower or toilet, rollators, walking frames, working chairs, scootcars, wheelchairs and adjusted bicycles.
Many medical aids are paid for by health insurance. You will need authorisation from your family doctor or specialist.
